Java developer POMS pre-trade

We are looking for a strong Java Developer with a standard skillset (multithreading, SQL, microservices) and a deep understanding of the principles of Java and software development in general.

The main responsibility will be the automation of fund portfolio management processes (portfolio management, execution management, risk management).

A Portfolio Order Management System (POMS) is a software platform used by asset managers, traders to manage the entire lifecycle of investment orders and portfolios. It facilitates the efficient execution, tracking, and reporting of trades and positions in financial markets.

POMS is a critical tool for the firm enabling efficiency through automation, enhanced compliance with built-in features, better risk management insights, and improved client satisfaction through accurate reporting and transparency.

What you will do

We are not looking for someone just to work on well defined tasks. You’ll be provided with different sorts of challenging  problems  (technical and business ones) required to be resolved in a smart way.  At the same time you must be an expert in Java development (with good enough multithreading experience).

Also

  • You are passionate about the business context of the role.
  • You understand the principles of Event Driven Architecture and have worked with one of: AMPS, MQ, Kafka.
  • You can contribute to the CI / CD environment for better efficiency: git pipelines, code reviews, logging etc.
  • You adhere to a principle of no MR  w/o covering  auto tests.

Required

  • 5+ years of Java programming(Java Core + multithreading).
  • Familiarity with Spring and Apache libraries and other large open source libraries.
  • Experience with Kafka and/or other  real-time messaging systems.
  • Ability to work well independently and in cross-functional teams.
  • Bachelor degree in Computer Science or similar
